GUERNSEY LAW OFFICERS ASSIST IN OECD AWARD OF TOP MARKS FOR TRANSPARENCY

St James Chambers was a key contributor to a successful OECD review which recognised Guernsey's commitment to tackling financial crime. The outcome of the review was reported by We Are Guernsey: Guernsey receives top marks for transparency from OECD's Global Forum

Chambers' staff provided material for the OECD assessors on all parts of the legal framework, focusing in particular on beneficial ownership. A member of chambers also took part in presenting Guernsey's case at the plenary meeting.

Our involvement in evaluations is particularly rewarding as achievement of the 'Compliant' rating demonstrates the high regulatory standards in the Bailiwick to the international community.
