HM Receiver General
His Majesty's Receiver General is appointed by His Majesty the King to administer the affairs of the Crown's estate in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
His Majesty's Receiver General is responsible for:
maintaining the Crown Estate in the Bailiwick of Guernsey,
promoting and defending the historic rights, titles and estates of the Crown in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
His Majesty's Receiver General in Guernsey deals with escheat and bona vacantia where the property in question is situated in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The Receiver General may also claim on behalf of the Crown bona vacantia (wherever situated) that belonged to a deceased person or a dissolved registered company within the Bailiwick.
